Our Roots
Dobbins Creek Vineyards was the passion project of our founder and former owner, Charles King. After decades of personal interest and study, Charles carefully planned and cultivated the five and a half acres of vineyards you see today, and our doors officially opened in spring 2007. His philosophy of producing the finest quality grapes in the Yadkin Valley is the driving force behind everything we do.
In 2022, Stephanie Rogol visited Dobbins Creek Vineyards, met Charles, and fell in love with the land, the carefully cultivated grapevines, the amazing views, and the incredible wines that had become staples of Dobbins Creek. Recognizing the property’s potential, Stephanie purchased the vineyard with a vision to develop the land into
a destination venue – not just for great wine, but for dining, special events, musical performances, and more.
The combination of Charles’s dedication and Stephanie’s vision has created something very special in the Yadkin Valley. Come visit us soon and experience it for yourself!
Our Philosophy
Our philosophy is simple - to produce the highest quality grapes and estate-grown wine in the Yadkin Valley, and to provide our guests with an experience they will never forget. We produce a limited amount of wine each year - about 1,500 cases - from grapes that are expertly cared for right here on the property. Grapes are handpicked and minimally processed to preserve their natural right-off-the-vine flavor.
We are a spirited vineyard, where guests from across the region converge amongst firepits, festivities, and friends on our outdoor patios spanning 3,400 sqft, with beautiful long range views and excellent wines to enjoy. This is what we call the “Dobbins Creek Experience” and we invite you to experience some of the finest wines in the Valley.

Guests are welcome and encouraged to bring along snacks & picnics to enjoy alongside our wines.
Non-alcoholic beverages, such as water & sodas, are always welcome.
Handcrafted Charcuterie & Cheese Boards are also available for purchase.
